Donation Amounts

Donation Amounts are the suggested donation amounts in Dijon Platform. You can specify donation amounts per country, language and currency.

You can specify donation amounts for just your currency and have the values uatautomatically converted into the currency selected for the visitor.

Scenario 1 - Your accept donations from a single country.
If you do not need to worry about different languages, currencies or countries, we recommend creating your donation amounts in the default currency and language for your site.

Scenario 2 - You accept donations from users with different languages, but the amount (in your currency) doesn't change.
If you do not need to suggest different amounts for different countries, we recommend creating donations amounts in your currency with the other languages.

Scenario 3 - You accept donations from users with different languages, and you want the amount to change depending on the country.
This scenario is the most time-consuming way of setting up your donation amounts. Still, it can produce better results if specific amounts are popular in a particular country. You can create the amounts for each country, language and currency you want to support.

Managing Donation Amounts

Donation Amounts are managed per campaign. Go to Content > Campaigns and click on the name of the campaign you want to configure the donation amounts for. Click the Configure button and select Donation amounts.

Donation Amounts are configured by name defined in the template. If you have not specifed custom names, or are using a Dijon Platform's standard templates use one_off for single pages and subscription for monthly payments.

Click on the blue edit button to manage the donation amounts you want to edit. You can then select the Currency, Language and Country you want to edit the donation amonuts for.

The amounts for currencies, languages and countries will be updated when you press Save.
